VIBRATIONSHIP

Book cover of VibrationShip about grief and love beyond death.

VIBRATIONSHIP: A New Paradigm For Grief

Continuing Bonds, Cross-Veil Communication, and the Possibility of Relationship Beyond Death

What if the relationship did not end when the body died — but simply began speaking a new language?

When someone we love dies, we are often told that healing means learning to live without them. But what if grief is not only the pain of physical loss, but also the disorientation of a relationship changing form before we've learned how to continue it?

In VIBRATIONSHIP: A New Paradigm for Grief, author and former clinical research scientist Cheryl A. Page invites readers to consider a different possibility: that death may change the conditions of a relationship without necessarily ending the relationship itself.

Born from Cheryl's own devastating loss following the sudden death of her beloved partner, Scott, in 2017, VIBRATIONSHIP offers a compassionate exploration of grief, love, consciousness, continuing bonds, and the possibility of communication beyond physical death.

This is not a book asking readers to deny grief, bypass pain, or abandon reason. It is an invitation to remain curious about what love and relationship might mean when the physical conditions of connection have changed.

What Is VIBRATIONSHIP?

At the heart of the book is Cheryl's concept of VIBRATIONSHIP:

Meaningful connectivity between two people — two beings, two points of consciousness — on different vibrational octaves.

VIBRATIONSHIP describes the possibility of an ongoing relationship between someone living in the physical world and someone who has died.

While communication may involve a sign, dream, synchronicity, or moment of unexpected knowing, VIBRATIONSHIP points toward something larger: the relationship itself.

Communication sends a message. VIBRATIONSHIP is how relationship continues under changed conditions.

The central invitation is not simply to search for evidence that someone we love still exists. It is to explore whether love, connection, and meaningful relationship may continue in ways we have not yet learned to recognize, navigate, or sustain.

Continuing Bonds: Does Love End When Someone Dies?

In grief psychology, continuing bonds refers to the ongoing emotional, psychological, and symbolic relationship a person may maintain with someone who has died.

Remembering a loved one, speaking their name, carrying forward their values, honoring shared traditions, or feeling guided by their influence can all be expressions of continuing bonds.

VIBRATIONSHIP explores an additional possibility: that some experiences of connection may represent more than memory or symbolism.

What about the unexpected song, the vivid dream, the extraordinary coincidence, or the unmistakable feeling of a loved one's presence?

Must these experiences be dismissed? Must they be accepted without question?

Cheryl proposes a third possibility: We can explore them with an open heart and a discerning mind.

Cross-Veil Communication: Do You Have to Be a Medium?

One of the foundational ideas in Cheryl's work is that meaningful experiences of connection across the veil need not be reserved for professional mediums or people who consider themselves especially psychic.

Cross-Veil Communication (CVC) is the term Cheryl uses to describe the exploration of possible communication between people living in the physical world and loved ones who have died.

These experiences may include:

  • Dreams that feel unusually vivid or meaningful
  • Synchronicities and unexpected coincidences
  • Familiar songs, symbols, or recurring patterns
  • A sudden impression, insight, or inner knowing
  • Moments of deeply felt connection or presence

Such experiences can be meaningful regardless of how someone ultimately interprets their origin.

Rather than treating signs as mere souvenirs from Heaven, VIBRATIONSHIP invites readers to consider whether they might be openings into continuing relationship.

A cardinal, a song, a feather, a number, or a dream may not be the entire message.

It may be the new caller ID — a loving signal inviting us to answer.

The Laboratory of Expanded Understanding

How do we explore extraordinary possibilities without abandoning reason?

Cheryl calls her approach the Laboratory of Expanded Understanding.

Drawing on more than two decades of experience as a clinical research scientist in oncology, palliative care, and hospice, she encourages a spirit of curiosity, observation, discernment, and thoughtful inquiry.

This is not about proving that every coincidence is a message or that every unusual experience has a supernatural explanation.

It is about becoming willing to ask better questions, observe our experiences carefully, and remain open to possibilities without demanding certainty.

Readers are invited to explore their own experiences, consider alternative explanations, and discover what meaning, if any, those experiences may hold.

No particular spiritual belief is required.

And perhaps most importantly:

No one has to raise their vibration high enough to deserve connection. Grief and love can sit beside each other.

A Different Way of Understanding Grief

Grief is not a failure of spirituality. Nor is it evidence that someone has lost their connection with a loved one.

Grief is a profoundly human response to physical separation, and it deserves tenderness, patience, and respect.

VIBRATIONSHIP does not promise to eliminate grief. Instead, it invites readers to explore whether grief and continuing relationship can coexist.

What if healing does not always mean letting go of the relationship?

What if it sometimes means learning to recognize the relationship in a different form?

Not love that is gone, but love in a different form.

Who Is This Book For?

VIBRATIONSHIP: A New Paradigm for Grief is written for:

  • Anyone grieving the death of someone they love
  • People curious about continuing bonds and after-death communication
  • Those who have experienced meaningful signs, dreams, or synchronicities
  • Spiritual seekers and open-minded skeptics alike
  • Grief educators, caregivers, and those interested in the intersection of science, spirituality, and consciousness
  • Anyone wondering whether death must mean the end of a meaningful relationship

You do not have to believe in an afterlife to explore the questions in this book.

You only need a willingness to wonder.
